HOME: [house | hunting]

So this weekend i wanted to check out these condos that are for sale down in Torrance called The Foundry. but by the time we got there on Sunday they were closed and they weren't open on Monday because of the holiday.

However i took Mina with me on Monday and the Security Guard was nice enough to allow us to walk around and look into the windows (no one's moved in yet). Lucky, the model home we could see was one of the ones with the floor plan that i was interested in. I wanted to by the place as is! haha (pictures below)

I decided to call this morning and see if i could come view the place, but i was told that there's only 3 Condos left out of 83 and that unfortunately they happened to be the smallest floor plan that they have (not the one i wanted) BUMMER!!!

i really love the open airiness of the floor plan below. it would've been PERFECT for our first place, minus the whole condo thing. lol oh well, hopefully that just means there's something better and more perfect out there waiting for us.

so the HUNT continues....
xoxo

INTERIOR: [bedding | rubie green]

personally I'm not much of a huge pattern fan. i love using them like bright colors... as accents to a look and even then I'm super pick on the print design it self when it comes to patterns.

So when i came across this bedding collection i loved the color pallet along with the prints. Of course, I'd never go matchy-matchy and have my bed all the same pattern, I'd definitely throw a solid duvet along with some other solid pillows to soften the look. But these are definitely cute!

What's even better it that Rubie Green went completely "green" with organic cotton and it's printed from a eco-friendly certified factory.

STYLE: [attention to detail | architect]

{architect: peter pennoyer}

maybe it's the designer in me, but i LOVE the little details in everything (interior design, wardrobe styling, design)... just like the images above, i love the craftsmanship of the molding, windows and arches. it gives even an empty room some character of it own.

INTERIOR//: [home | decor]

for those of you that haven't been reading my old blog , i've started to keep a scrapbook of interior design ideas that i like and want to keep in mind once the hubby and i finally buy a place (which hopefully should be within a 1-2 years).

BEDROOM
one of the hardest for me is the bedroom, only because it's the room we're probably going to be spending the most time in. i'm thinking i would like to have it feel like a hotel room. (light bulb turns on) ill check out hotel websites to get ideas on the bedroom decor. why didn't i think of that earlier. ha

i did it the hard way by searching on Google Images but i did come across this cute blog called Inside Avenue that had a cute photo from Metropolitan Home Mag
doesnt this rooms look nice and cozy... a place you could spend hours in?! ^_^

BATHROOM

i LOVE this bathroom (above). i love the fact that you feel like you're not in the city and you one with nature. my only main issue would be.. knowing my hubby, he'd run outside around the house and try to scare me and take a peek. (typical daren for ya ha!) although i love what the all white look does, i would probably add a little color... but all in all i love the idea.

LIVING ROOM
i love the colors and the roman shades.
