PERSONAL: [mina's bday | scavenger hunt]

i had never really heard of a bday scavenger hunt before. So when i heard about Mina's, my initial thought/reaction was "this could either be super fun or really awful!" But to honest, it was SO much FUN!!!

they broke us up into groups. they separate the couples into different groups, which i think was smart (i think i had more fun not being on the hubby's team ha). then they gave us a list of things we have to do, get, photograph and/or video tape. (i.e. get a stranger to pump your gas, human pyramid in front of the Mc Donald's arches, find a 1979 coin, 42¢ stamp, get an application at a hostess bar, down a beer with a stranger, take 4 shots, take a photo on a firetruck (extra points if with a fire fighter), slide down the fire station pole...) each item was given a point of how much it's worth and at the end of the hunt everyone's items were tallied up based of the points and not the number of items your group completed.

my team consist of me, kelsey, morgan, jay & steve. unfortunately we came in second to the hubby's team. but in the end we all had fun time... we even wanted to try and extend the scavenger hunt.

all in all what a great idea. i highly recommend this to everyone. here's some of the photos of the tasks we accomplished...


oh yeah and while doing these tasks we had to wear masks. heehee

MOBILE//: [iphone game | parking lot]

One of the greatest games on the iPhone if you like puzzles is this game called PARKING LOT. It has puzzles ranging from easy to hard with 9 different packs and about 38 puzzles in each pack.

Both the hubby and I are both trying to go from pack 1-9 and finishing each and every puzzles in the pack. Some of them are extremely hard. It's very addicting, for us at least. ^_^

So if you have a iPhone and/or iPod touch I strongly recommend this game to you.

** for those of you who are wondering the BB Bold is still my main phone. But I'm able to use my iPhone thru wifi. So it's like a iPod touch with a camera now. ^_^

MOBILE//: [rock band | store]

Who doesn't love Rock Band?! I was having dinner with my friend Krista on Thursday night at Koji's at hollywood and highland. After dinner, a little shopping we headed to starbucks and across the way was a Rock Band store. It was filled with 4 stations so that people can test the game out but it was crazy hot in there. My theory is they did that so
people don't stay long playing the games buy it made me not even wanna stay there long looking at the different product.

But what I did see was a drum set with 3 drum pads and 2 symbols just like the one gutiar heroes just released. If you happen to me in the area and you're a rock band fan you should go check it out.
